Fun Valley Water Park, Haridwar National Highway

Oh I've visited Fun Valley which is at equal distance from Dehradun(30 Km), Haridwar and Rishikesh and is really nice place to enjoy in water.

Good thing is that even during summers the water is cold and clean enough to enjoy.

Timings

Open throughout the year. It's open time is 9 am to 5.30 pm in summer and 9 am to 4-5 pm in Winters. During winter water park will not be available. But other Coaster, Go karting etc will be.

Best time to reach there is 9 am itself. It take full day to enjoy here. In any case don't go after 3 pm as you won't be able to enjoy to to your satisfaction.

If you take ticket late( for example at 4 pm) you'll be given discount as the park will close soon.

Food

You're not allowed to take food/water in and you need to buy it from shops inside. The quality of food is average there costing your good amount of money. Before entering ensure that all have take good breakfast/lunch and children have their stomach full.

Try taking some cooked food by hiding it somewhere. We were quite unhappy with the taste and quality of food served there. But ice creams are served at standard rates and water bottles, chips are charged at MRP.

Ticket Cost

At the time of writing this article, entry of children below height of 3 feet is free. Between 3-4.5 feet it is Rs. 350 and Rs. 450 for the rest.

There is special pricing for groups of size 25 and more.

You'll need to pay locker charges and also costume charges if you don't carry one. I suggest you carry a swimming costume to save some charges. You'll hardly need a slipper/shoe for walking within water. It is not allowed nor will you need it.

Main Attractions

Lake tide is the finest enjoyment you can have in which artificial tides are created in the lake which occurs at 1 pm and 5 pm. Make sure you don't miss out this part.

Hotel Stay

There is indeed small hotel too within the campus. It has AC rooms with fare of Rs. 2000/day. Nice play to stay away from city noise. Food will also be served.

Warning

Keep away from the end point of tides. Monitor your small children, keep a continuous eye on your girls and small children.

For children coaster, electric cars etc -- drive slowly with completely dry clothes. Drive slow when Go-carting and don't do with children.

In case of heart patient, bad health inform the operator before enjoying any roller coaster and high nerve game.

Car Parking

Try to park your car within shade/tree. Find out sun set direction before you park it.
